November is here, and you all know what that means! The winter holiday season is officially upon us. While practicing the spirit of giving is a wonderful thing to do all year long, we especially want to be of charitable service during this season. We have come up with some easy tips and suggestions of how to use your RV to assist you in spreading some holiday cheer. Why not load up your family, friends, or neighbors in your coach and head out to do some holiday carolling? You don’t have to be a fantastic singer to belt it out, you just need to have a little courage, and a whole lot of joy to share. Throw in some warm beverages, (think spiced cider for little ones, and hot buttered rum for the grown ups who aren’t driving) and some light appetizers, and you’ve got yourself a mobile holiday party! We found some easy and delicious appetizer recipes at Disneyfamily.com that would be excellent to serve. Another idea is to turn your RV into a version of a soup kitchen on wheels. You and your loved ones can head out to deliver food baskets, holiday cookies, etc. to families that are in need of some assistance this season. You can also visit a website, such as “Create The Good” to see what organizations need volunteers in your area. Contact them and discuss how you can use your RV to help out. You never know what opportunities to serve you may find if you just ask. Volunteering together is a great way to bring your family a sense of greater purpose, and there are always people less fortunate who will greatly appreciate your help.
