With fantastic 80-degree weather, live music, yummy food and amazing people, it’s no wonder the first Johnson RV annual camp out was a success. We were beyond excited to see more than 30 RVs pull up on-site to kick-off the party. Several people brought their whole family to the event, pets included! Two of our amazing guests Jim and Sue Ellen Seydel brought their dog Julie and even their cat for the festivity!
Beginning on a Friday night, Neskowin RV Park provided dinner for all, including hot dogs and hamburgers hot off the grill. They were exceptional hosts, and cooked again Saturday night, providing mouth-watering salmon and BBQ chicken everyone loved! The fun continued as entertainer Bret Lucich gave a mini concert of terrific music after dinner. As the night grew darker, we did what every camper should do: roasted marshmallows and made S’mores around the fire pit, a true camping family favorite.
Our own crew was responsible for breakfast all weekend, so we chose to scramble eggs, cook ham, and flip pancakes the first morning, followed by fixing biscuits, gravy, ham, and sausage on Sunday morning. (A huge thanks to Jeff and Bob for serving!) We only hoped we could meet the deliciousness the folks at the Neskowin park had provided all weekend! I think we did okay, since according to two of our guests, Jim and Sue Ellen Seydel, “Johnson RV proved that not only do they provide good service, but the staff can also cook!” We were more than thrilled.
In addition to the yummy food and fun music, the camp-out weekend was also filled with RV Service seminars provided by Frank, Mike Curtis and Mike Meade. There were several exciting prizes that kept everyone engaged.
From the interesting seminars, door prizes, meeting new people, playing cards, and shopping the incredible RV Parts, accessories and camping store on-site, this camp-out was truly memorable. We want to say thanks to Mike C. and Mike M. for taking care of RV repair needs throughout the weekend, and thank you to all crews and guests who came to share in the food, fun, and fellowship, lasting through the weekend, and creating memories we’ll never forget!
