S’more variations of an American favorite for Family RVing

If you love s’mores, you’re going to love these new ideas on the old campfire favorite. While the traditional s’more consisting of graham cracker, marshmallow, and pieces of a hershey’s bar are still an all time favorite, we triple dog dare you to try one of these decadent variations.
First up, we have the brilliant idea of replacing the Hershey bar with a Reese’s peanut butter cup. Mmmm, melty peanut butter oozing out of melty chocolate and onto the sticky sweetness of the marshmallow. How could this not excite you? Unless of course you have an allergy to peanuts, then we completely understand, and suggest you try substituting the Hershey bar with Ghirardelli filled chocolate squares. Oh, imagine the possibilities! All the different flavor combinations you can create! Raspberry, caramel, mint… Need we go on?
Now that we’ve really got your imagination going, has it crossed your mind to try chocolate infused with chili peppers? Sounds a bit odd, but it’s surprisingly good. We’ve even heard of a few people using Nutella in their s’mores! Or how about replacing that old graham cracker with a vanilla wafer, or gingersnap, chocolate chip cookie, Keebler fudge striped cookie or townhouse cracker? Did you know that if you have melted chocolate on a townhouse cracker it tastes rather similar to a chocolate pie? It’s true – Scouts honor!
You can also try different flavored marshmallows. They now come in strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, and caramel. You can even get the really huge marshmallows for some extra fun. For holiday fun, try using Peeps – the kids will get a real kick out of that.
As you can see the delicious possibilities are endless! Be sure to tell us your favorite s’more recipe and include a picture or two! You can submit them in the comments on this blog or on our Facebook page!

Happy ooey-gooey S’moring!
